TV and I arrived about the same time. Our family was one of the first on the block to get a set, and my grandmother was totally enamored with the shows. I remember sitting on her lap, a scratchy wool blanket in hand, watching the tiny black and white people present plays. Funny how I ended up choosing TV as a career.
